About This Part
Griffin, marketed in Japan as Gryph, is a Shogun Face Bolt Takara Tomy produced for the Synchrome System, debuting on the BBG-12 Archer Gryph C145S Booster on June 23, 2012, ahead of a Hasbro release on the SS-12 Starter Pack Archer Griffin C145S. The artwork depicts a griffin's face, the lion-bodied, eagle-headed creature of legend, with one clawed limb stretched outward. The BBG-12 Booster is unusual in pairing the motif with a metal Stone Face instead of the standard plastic one, and Hasbro's copy is cross-shaped where Takara Tomy's Stone Face is a round diamond.
