About This Part
Genbu, sold in Japan as Genbull, is a Shogun Face Bolt Takara Tomy issued for the Synchrome System, debuting there on the BBG-23 Zero-G Random Booster Vol. 3 Bandid Genbull F230TB on October 20, 2012, then reaching Western stores on the Starter Pack Bandit Genbu F230TB in February 2014. The artwork gives Chinese mythology's black tortoise-and-snake figure Xuan Wu a cartoonish treatment: a turtle shell with a single eye peeking out from a hole in its surface. Hasbro's Genbu bolt is cross-shaped, unlike the round diamond Stone Face Takara Tomy used for the same motif.
