About This Part
Garudas is a Shogun Face Bolt Takara Tomy designed for the Synchrome System but withdrew before sale, having planned it for a Guardian Garudas SD160PF set in early 2013 that fell through when the Shogun Steel line was cancelled. The artwork is an elaborate take on Garuda, the bird-deity of Hindu and Buddhist myth: a yellow, open-beaked head with a single head spike looks left above a body built from twenty long, curve-tipped wings split five-and-five between yellow and red on each side, ending in a three-part tail of yellow and red sections meant to read as the creature in flight. A thick green line outlines the whole piece.
