About This Part
Fang is a Fusion Wheel Hasbro released exclusively as its own remake of the Takara Tomy 4D System wheel, debuting in western countries with the Starter Pack Fang Leone 130W2D. Unlike the original it cannot split into separate components, so it stays permanently locked in "Defense Mode" and, following the pattern of other Metal Fury Hasbro remakes, has been hollowed out to cut roughly 10 grams of weight.
In Play
Losing the mode-change gimmick along with that weight makes this version inferior to Takara Tomy's original mold and to most other defence-type wheels, so the community keeps it mainly for display.
- Debuted in western countries with the Starter Pack Fang Leone 130W2D.
