About This Part
Cyclone, sold in Japan as Tornado, is a Fusion Wheel Takara Tomy released for the Hybrid Wheel System, debuting in Japan on October 23rd, 2010 with the BB-94 Tornado Beystadium and reaching western shelves as the BB-94 Starter Pack Cyclone Herculeo 105F. It carries five small jagged blades that slope upward around its rim, giving it a respectable smash attack capable of striking beneath a taller, 170-based opponent.
In Play
Cyclone hits harder than Storm but is considered inferior to Blitz, Variares, and Flash; it performs best paired with a spin track of 105 or shorter, since its inward-curving wings lose power against opponents running a shorter track than its own, and while Vulcan and Spiral overshadow it in limited-format play, the community still calls it a welcome addition to a competitive collection.
- Debuted in Japan on October 23rd, 2010 with BB-94 Tornado Beystadium.
- Released in western countries as the BB-94 Starter Pack Cyclone Herculeo 105F.
