About This Part
The Right Engine Gear's Metal Flat version is close to its Semi-Flat counterpart, sharing a metal flat tip design and differing mainly in that the small step present on the Semi-Flat version is filled in. It debuted with the release of Strata Dragoon G and weighs 11 grams.
In Play
It performs almost identically to the Semi-Flat version, trading a touch more Stamina for slightly more aggression, but its height keeps it out of any workable combination and the community rates it as outclassed by SG Metal Flat Base 2.
- Debuted with Strata Dragoon G
Collector's Note
Right-spin metal-tipped Engine Gear from the V-Force Engine Gear system, with a wide flat tip similar in width to the Metal Flat Base tip on Gaia Dragoon V. Needs a fairly deep bank to "flower" but does so well; long viewed as the best offensive Engine Gear, historically used unwound in old-school Smash Attack setups with a small Normal Base and an overhanging Attack Ring like Triple Tiger. WBO player-discovered tech pairs it with a Final Clutch Base to give a late-game burst of Engine Gear spin as the Beyblade topples, producing a distinctive Life-After-Death effect nicknamed the "V8 Combo" - a genuinely competitive Right-Spin spin-stealing attacker that can out-survive some Defensive Zombies. Regarded as the best standard Engine Gear and the only one with real competitive use of the gimmick; Hasbro never released a customizable engine-wheel (CEW) version of it. Ships on Gaia Dragoon G.
