About This Part
Aries is a Takara Tomy Energy Ring shaped as three outward-pointing, rock-textured heads forming a rough triangular perimeter, with the printed word "ARIES" on its stickers. It first appeared in Japan on August 8, 2009 inside the BB-45 Random Booster Light Vol. 3, and reached western shelves in August 2010 through the BB-45 Starter Pack Rock Aries ED145B. Its light weight and inward mass distribution keep it out of defensive roles, but its exposed triangular shape suits three-sided Fusion Wheels in attack builds.
In Play
Competitive players treat Aries as a narrow-use Attack piece for three-sided Fusion Wheels, useful but outclassed for general purposes by more versatile Attack Energy Rings such as Pisces or Ice-Titan.
- Released in Japan on August 8, 2009 inside the BB-45 Random Booster Light Vol. 3.
- Released in western markets in August 2010 with the BB-45 Starter Pack Rock Aries ED145B.
