About This Part
Thief is an Element Wheel made by Takara Tomy for the Synchrome System, first sold in Japan on April 21, 2012 inside the BBG-09 Zero-G Random Booster Vol. 1 Thief Phoenic E230GCF, then brought west by Hasbro in August 2013 through the SS-09 Thief Phoenix E230GCF Starter Pack. It has a three-sided, flame-patterned wing shape with feathers curving to the right and carries the Fire element symbol on its face. One of the three wings is noticeably bigger than the other two, a quirk that would suggest an uneven weight distribution but barely registers given how light the piece is overall.
In Play
Community consensus treats every Element Wheel, Thief included, as a clear step down from the Warrior Wheels used in true Synchrome pairings, so it stays a collector's piece outside that context. Within the WBO's MFB Limited Format, though, its three-pronged shape pairs well with Warrior Wheels like Phoenic to build attack-oriented setups, and while the recoil runs heavier than lighter options such as Pegasis, it still holds up as a workable aggressive choice.
