About This Part
The Desert Sphinxer version of the Final Clutch Base is the most compact release of that Blade Base, built for the Engine Gear System. Takara Tomy issued it with Desert Sphinxer through a CoroCoro Comic limited booster. Its housing is almost entirely smooth and round, without the raised gimmicks most spring-loaded Engine Gear bases carry. Two internal clips hold the Engine Gear in place, and a central hole lets the pegs securing the CEW pass through.
