About This Part
Spark Dragon is an Attack Ring from the Hard Metal System that debuted with Thunder Serpent's release, weighing 14 grams. It splits into two pieces, a metal frame and an ABS caul, with the metal frame sitting loosely inside the caul so the caul can spin freely around it. The caul itself carries three blunt contact points plus several smaller ones meant to produce some Smash Attack, and the Takara-made version is built to visibly spark on impact.
In Play
Competitive players avoid it outright, because the free-spinning caul absorbs a hit by simply rotating rather than transferring force, and since none of the actual metal on the ring ever touches an opponent, it cannot deliver a real Smash Attack no matter how it's built around.
