About This Part
Scissor Cutter is the Attack Ring that shipped on Metal Dragoon Bearing Stinger, first released in December 1999. It is thin and light with reasonably even balance, offering little for Survival or Defense play but some limited use for Smash Attack. The standard version is too delicate for real use, while the Phantom Force variant is somewhat tougher, though still fragile overall.
In Play
Even the sturdier Phantom Force version is considered a weak Smash Attack pick, held back by short range and recoil, and is outclassed by rings like Triple Wing, Cross Griffon and Triple Tiger; players who do run it typically pair it with a Wide Defense Weight Disk and a Grip Base to offset its recoil with speed.
- Released with Bearing Stinger in December 1999 as part of the Spin Gear System.
- A more durable Phantom Force version was produced alongside the standard release.
