About This Part
Scissor Attacker is an Attack Ring from the Magnacore System that first appeared with the release of Metal Dranzer in December 2001. It is a compact, rounded ring with three short attack points, originally built to land a modest Smash Attack when launched right-side spin. Its snug, rounded profile turns out to matter more for left-spin play, where its small size and low centre of mass make it a strong pick for compact and zombie-style builds. One quirk of its shape is a slightly raised outer edge, similar to the sub-ring seen on parts like War Lion or War Bear, which leaves it a little exposed to Upper Attack and to rivals sneaking underneath it, a weakness a Weight Disk can mostly cover.
In Play
Competitive players rate it as mediocre for right-spin Smash Attack and generally skip it there, but favour it heavily for left-spin compact and zombie customizations, where it is said to outperform well-known picks like Driger S's Tiger Defenser and Galeon's War Lion; only the rare Twin Horn from Gabriel is considered a stronger option for those two build styles.
