About This Part
Knight Crusher is an Attack Ring from the Hard Metal System, first released with Aero Knight MS and weighing 19 grams. Two metal sections protrude from its plastic caul, giving it contact points in both left- and right-spin, but the metal is either poorly exposed or too abrupt to generate useful attack in either direction. In left-spin the plastic covering the metal produces heavy recoil and is prone to wearing down, while in right-spin the metal contact point creates recoil back onto the piece itself rather than useful damage.
In Play
The community considers it one of the weaker Attack Rings for tournament play, clearly outclassed by rings such as Samurai Upper, Circle Upper and Advance Survivor even though its shape suggested attacking potential.
