Colour Editions
- Made in China (Hasbro/Takara) - most common version
- SonoKong TopBlade (pre-G-Revolution) - smaller, tighter prongs, shorter finger rest
- SonoKong GBlade - tighter prongs, shorter finger rest, stylized "G" molding
- MFB Lights and Sounds bundled version (e.g. with Lightning L-Drago) - adds a centre spacer to prevent over-insertion
What It Is
The second left-spin counterpart to the EZShooter, replacing the bulkier original Reverse Shooter by simply mirroring the standard mechanism (inverting the ripcord) instead of adding extra gearing. To keep the winder handle right-side up despite the inverted ripcord, it pairs with Neo Dragon Winders or Reverse Dragon Winders rather than a standard Dragon Winder. The simpler, more compact design is generally considered more reliable than the original Reverse Shooter. Manufacturing variants (China, SonoKong TopBlade, SonoKong GBlade, and an MFB-bundled version) differ mainly in size and prong tightness rather than power.
How It Launches
10-tooth gear; about 6.5 rotations with the Dragon Winder, 5.5-5.75 with the Spring Winder, 4.5-5 with the Regular Winder; left spin. All manufacturing variants are rated as equal in power.
Rotation counts are given with the winder they were measured with; a different winder gives a different figure.
What It Fits
Requires a Neo Dragon Winder or Reverse Dragon Winder (rather than a standard Dragon Winder) to keep the winder handle correctly oriented; also usable with the Spring Winder or Regular Winder.
Releases
Superseded the original Reverse Shooter starting with V-Force's Dragoon V release.
Spin and gear teeth are given only where they are stated outright; the table leaves a figure blank rather than infer one.
