What It Is

An early wind-up spring launcher: the Beyblade sits on prongs that are wound by hand via a trigger, then released. The user must time the trigger release precisely to both stop the winding motion and free the top at the right moment, which is described as much harder in practice than it sounds.

How It Launches

About 3.5 rotations at best, right spin. Considered the second-weakest launcher in the line (after the Bey Grip Shooter), and only if the timing is done perfectly.

Rotation counts are given with the winder they were measured with; a different winder gives a different figure.

Releases

Predecessor to the Bey Grip Shooter; reissued years later, essentially unchanged, as Hasbro's Engine Gear Launcher.

Spin and gear teeth are given only where they are stated outright; the table leaves a figure blank rather than infer one.
