What It Is
The standard, general-purpose grip of the plastics generation: a fairly ergonomic handle compatible with a wide range of add-on accessories, which made it popular for both comfort and customization. The Dark Green colorway is noted as prone to brittle plastic (compared to reports about some Japanese-market parts of the era) and can reportedly shatter just from inserting a launcher, so it is not recommended for actual use; the Gold colorway may carry a similar risk.
- First launcher grip in the line to support separate attachments
- Released in six Takara colourways plus Hasbro's Dragoon and Dranzer versions
- Ripcord entry point wears out over time, especially on left-spin launchers
What It Fits
Accepts nearly every Launcher Accessory made for the plastics generation.
Releases
Released in numerous promotional and event-specific color variants, making a full count difficult.
Spin and gear teeth are given only where they are stated outright; the table leaves a figure blank rather than infer one.
