Customize Grip

First issued during V-Force and put to heavy use by four main cast members in G-Revolution, this launcher grip was the plastic generation's first to accept separate attachments, letting a blader mix and match hardware freely. Takara released it in six colourways, including a Ray-branded sky blue and a Max-branded dark green, while Hasbro issued its own Dragoon and Dranzer-branded versions with different attachment hardware. The ripcord entry point wears out with use, a problem the accompanying spring-launcher attachment helps offset, and left-spin launchers wear faster than right-spin ones.

What to know

  • Released in six Takara colourways plus Hasbro's Dragoon and Dranzer versions
