What It Is

Described as the one grip that meaningfully changes performance rather than just comfort. It mounts the launcher on a spring-loaded carriage that gets pulled back by the ripcord's own friction as it is drawn out, then snaps the launcher forward the instant the ripcord clears, pushing the Beyblade forward at release. This can help with sliding-style launches or with launches timed to collide with an opponent's top in mid-air. A lock switch can disable the spring action, and the carriage can also be pulled back and held by hand for a manually timed boost.

How It Launches

In theory the spring-back could reduce launch speed by lowering the ripcord's velocity relative to the launcher, but in practice a sufficiently strong pull already tends to overcome this with EZShooters and the Power Custom. Manually cocking the carriage and releasing it while pulling the ripcord adds extra power and makes an early, aggressive collision launch easier to time, though this technique takes more practice. Overall viewed as a nice utility rather than a necessity.

Rotation counts are given with the winder they were measured with; a different winder gives a different figure.

What It Fits

Used with standard shooters such as the EZShooter and EZShooter Power Custom.

Spin and gear teeth are given only where they are stated outright; the table leaves a figure blank rather than infer one.
