Tornado Eagle

Tornado Battler type Extreme Top System 2011
Spin
Right-Spin
Weight
44.5 grams

Description

Hasbro built this Tornado Battler taller than a standard top, aiming its added height at angled attacks and letting it climb clear of stadium pocket traps; a narrow tip gives it stamina-leaning endurance in exchange. Its face bolt depicts Aquila, the eagle constellation, cast in a fixed piece with no visible screws, while the dark purple energy ring shares a mold with L-Drago and Pegasus. The six-bladed fusion wheel keeps a nearly round profile with only mild recoil, and it launched in the United States in Fall 2011.

In play and in the story

The Narrow Defense tip trades stamina for stability, giving it firmer footing than the Sharp and Defense tips at the cost of endurance, which leaves the build more exposed to attack-type opponents over a long battle.

  • Released in Fall 2011 in the United States.

Community testing, Jan. 24, 2020 — summarised

The competitive view

Tornado Eagle, a Hasbro-only Tornado Battler using the Extreme Top System released Fall 2011 in the US, is taller than normal Beyblades for angled attacks with a narrow endurance tip. It has an Aquila-themed Face Bolt, an Energy Ring shared with L-Drago and Pegasus but in dark purple, a near-round Fusion Wheel, a dentable clawed Spin Track, and a Narrow Defense tip trading Stamina for extra friction-based defense.
