Description

Takara Tomy priced this Balance Type Starter at 2500円 for its June 13th, 2026 debut in Japan, under the name Metal Coat: Samurai Blue, Japan National Football Team Version. "Samurai Blue" is the Japan men's national soccer team's nickname, and every design choice nods to it: the SamuraiSaber Blade for the name, the Kick Bit for the sport, and a 5-60 Ratchet chosen because five plus six makes the eleven players on a starting lineup, because a soccer ball is built from five- and six-sided panels, and because the team counts five core brand values.
