How the game is built
Collision is a two-player game of 130 cards in four types. Blade cards are the tops themselves and carry no colour; Action, Character and Event cards come in four colours, blue, green, red and yellow, and colour is what a battle turns on. The set counts 12 Blades, 88 Actions, 28 Characters and 16 Events, numbered in colour blocks of thirty after the ten Blades.
Rarity runs Common, Uncommon and Rare from the booster packs, with a foil Xtra-Rare in roughly one pack of eight. Ten foil Starter Deck Premiums only ever came in the two starter decks, and fourteen promos were handed out rather than sold. The collecting guide has the products and the odds; the rulebook is the 2003 booklet as printed.
