What this is

Every Collision starter deck shipped with this booklet. Its front pages explain what a trading card game is, then teach a basic game in which card text is ignored so that young players can join in, and an advanced game that switches the text on. The back pages cover deck building, collector marks, a glossary and a full sample game between two players.

The booklet was written and published by Decipher, Inc. in 2003. Its copyright page credits Hudson Soft, Takara, the Beyblade Project, TV Tokyo, Takao Aoki and d-rights, and the text remains theirs. We host the scan so the game can still be learned and played; see the legal page for how rights holders can reach us.

The scan itself came from a Polish card-game archive and is complete. Page numbers in the file follow the printed booklet; the sample game runs from page 23 to 28.

Special thanks in the booklet go to Yoshio Takeuchi and Yoshihiro Nagamori among others; the rules-questions address printed there was chief@beybladetcg.com, an address on one of the domains this site now holds, long since dead.
