The Organiser's Report
Digested in our words
Vancouver's fifth bi-monthly Burst Limited event arrived as the newly released Whirl QuadStrike blade became widely available, capping six months of Hasbro parts reshaping the local Limited metagame. Five of the eleven entrants ran the same Whirl Tapered-Q Bearing combo and dominated the first stage, but the combo could not carry into the final stage once opponents built decks specifically to beat it. KIO won the event using a Gambit and Arc Bahamut deck, narrowly surviving a low-teeth Arc Bahamut against Nightmare Longinus and Bloody Longinus in the final.
- Whirl QuadStrike blade's tournament debut, drawing comparisons to earlier Wind and Driger V2 Bearing-Drift metagames
- Five of eleven players ran an identical Whirl Tapered-Q Bearing combo and all placed in the top half after first stage
- The Whirl combo scored zero points in the final stage despite its first-stage dominance

Where this comes from
The listing's facts (title, day, time, venue, place, tags for format, battle type, cap and fee, and the ranked flag) were read from the WBO's tournament board on September 29, 2026; "Played and processed" is the board's own status for the thread. The podium comes from the organiser's post in the WBO's winning-combination thread for the format, joined to this event by the link in the post or by the same title on the same day. Names are shown as posted. To enter, discuss or see the bracket, use the thread. The organiser is the member who opened it; where the thread was not crawled, nobody is named. Something wrong here?
