With Tsubasa and Yu out, the team debates a substitute, but a friendly scrimmage among Kenta, Team Wang Hu Zhong, Gingka, and Masamune is interrupted by Ryo in his Phoenix disguise, who wants to join himself — ruled illegal by Hikaru since he is WBBA Director. With no eligible substitute, Blader DJ and American DJ instead settle their announcing rivalry with a comically inept Bey battle that ends in a tie.
