Extreme Top System

Hasbro sold this line of gimmick-driven tops under the Beyblade: Extreme Top System branding while Metal Masters and Metal Fury aired, distinguishing releases by packaging colour: orange for the Masters era, green for Fury. Four families made up the range: Tornado Battlers built taller with a tilting, weaving action, Electro Battlers with pre-built LED lighting and battle sound tied to spin speed, remote-directed IR Spin Control tops, and Stealth Battlers built around one-off surprise attacks, alongside a later Electro Spark wave that folded Spark FX lighting into the Tornado design. A run of Electronic Tops appeared during the earlier Metal Fusion toyline before the System name existed, reusing Original Series launchers and carrying plain "B-" codes; several of their internal parts turned up again inside the Electro Battlers line.
