Beyblade: Shogun Steel (toyline)

Shogun Steel carried the Metal Series toyline into its fifth and final year, launching in Japan on 31 March 2011 alongside Hasbro's parallel Metal Fury wave, with Hasbro's own version following in 2013. The line's central gimmick, Zero-G, comes from tilting, swaying Beystadiums rather than any change to gravity itself; how a top performs in them depends on its balance and weight. New Stone Face and Chrome/Crystal Wheel parts replace the constellation-themed designs of earlier years with mythical-creature motifs, seen first in Samurai Ifraid's ifrit styling and Shinobi Saramanda's salamander design.
