Winder Launcher

The standard right-spin ripcord launcher for Beyblade X, debuting in Japan June 10, 2023 with the BX-01 DranSword 3-60F starter for 1980 yen; Hasbro later sold it individually in the west for USD$7.99. Uses a winder-style ripcord and exists in three internal mold variations across its production life.

What to know

  • Takara Tomy bundles it inside Starters and Sets, while Hasbro sells it as a standalone packaged product (product code G0440)
  • A longer 90-tooth 'Long Winder' variant (vs the standard 81-tooth winder) originally came only with the Hold Launcher, but later ships with UX-14 ScorpioSpear 0-70Z, CX-07/CX-00 PegasusBlast ATr, and CX-09 SolEclipse D5-70TK; supporting materials call this combo the 'Long Winder Launcher'
  • Three mold variations exist: original mold from June 2023 launch, a second mold introduced October 2023 with LeonClaw 5-60P (minor internal changes, used in reprints from that period), and a third mold from March 2024 with the Unique Line Beyblades (modified internals and winder material, used in all subsequent reprints and all Hasbro G0440 releases)
  • Bundled across dozens of Takara Tomy BX-, CX-, and UX- series Starters and Sets in many color versions, and in Hasbro's standalone G0440 release and the G1844 Beyblade 25th Anniversary Set
  • Compatible with accessories like Grips and the Beybattle Pass, unlike the more basic Entry Launcher
