Takara Tomy used the Limited Edition Set label across two hardware eras, bundling two Beyblades pulled from separate prize pools into one box rather than selling a matched pair. Four such sets appeared during the plastic generation between 2001 and 2003, followed by two more once Hard Metal System parts took over in 2004 and 2005.
