Credited within the community as the creator of the Beyblade toy line, Mashimo (眞下修) has held a long run of titles at Takara Tomy. He moved from Board Director and Senior Executive Officer into Head of Toy Business HQ, was demoted to Global Products Strategy on February 27, 2012, then rose to Chief Marketing Officer that June. He led New Products Planning briefly before losing that role in October 2012, regained the Board Director seat and the Executive Managing Officer title alongside Head of Toy Business HQ on June 26, 2013, lost the Head of Toy Business HQ role again on April 1, 2014, and settled into the sole title of Executive Managing Officer, stepping down as Board Director, on May 26, 2014.
