Grand Deucalion

The only joint special move used by twins Sophie and Wales in Beyblade: Metal Masters. Sophie's Grand Maelstrom first whips up a water current, which then combines with Wales's Grand Fleet as both of their Cetus beasts leap together and crash down, forming one giant tsunami meant to overwhelm and drown the opponent.

  • Debuted in Metal Masters episode 16 "The Festival of Warriors" against Gingka and Masamune, though Ray Striker's Lightning Sword Flash cut a path allowing Galaxy Pegasus through before Gravity Destroyer knocked Striker out
  • Used again in episode 24 "The Creeping Darkness" to quickly defeat Chao Xin and Mei Mei
  • Interrupted in episode 26 "The Dragon Emperor Returns" when Ryuga appeared and dispatched Wales and Cetus before the move could finish Tsubasa
  • Nearly defeated Yu and Tsubasa in episode 28 "Dark Eagle" until Tsubasa's Earth Eagle broke through with the new Shining Tornado Buster
  • Combined with Black Excalibur in episode 39 "The Guard Dog of Hades: Kerbecs" but was snuffed out by Hades Kerbecs's Hades Gate
  • Last used in episode 47 "The Fallen Emperor," cut through effortlessly by Julian's Black Excalibur
