Tornado Stalling

A launching approach bladers use with Attack or Balance type tops, sending the Beyblade circling along the Tornado Ridge at the stadium's rim so it outlasts a rival that gets pulled toward the centre instead. Staying on the ridge lets a blader grind down the opponent's spin while avoiding direct contact, provided the launch pairs an aggressive Performance Tip with solid Stamina. The motion can also rock the stadium from side to side -- some bladers argue it is closer to a reciprocating wobble than a straight shift -- and staying that close to the stadium's edge raises the odds of a Self-KO.

What to know

  • Keeps the Beyblade on the Tornado Ridge to avoid direct contact while outspinning the opponent
