Gattyaki

This shooting technique aims to drop a top directly onto an opponent's Beyblade before it reaches the stadium floor, an impact that can knock the rival out cold or badly sap its endurance. Pulling it off means launching a fraction of a second behind the rival's release, timed to the countdown's final syllable rather than its usual cue, since anything later makes for an illegal launch. Heavy customizations add force to the landing and make the technique more effective, and a shooter can also vary launch height to keep the timing legal. Landing it cleanly is difficult and misses are common, though a miss rarely costs much beyond the opening exchange.
