Biography

Titus Manju, called King Manju in Japan, leads the three-person team Zooganic in Beyblade X. A tan, lion-maned boy who styles himself a king, he stays fiercely loyal to teammates Toguro and Jian despite his regal act. Grandson of veteran blader Quinn Manju, who once taught him to fight both offensively and defensively, Titus battles with the balance-type Claw Leon before adding the defense-oriented Crest Leon. He fights through Xone tournaments across all three Beyblade X seasons, trading wins and losses with rivals like Jaxon Cross and the ruling Cross family, and stays close to a large extended family of Manju relatives.

Appearance and personality

What They Look Like, and How They Behave

Titus is short, tan-skinned and muscular, with spiky hair in brown, brownish-orange and blond shades over dark roots, styled to resemble a lion's mane, and brown eyes with feline pupils. Long nails, whisker tattoos and prominent fangs round out a look modelled on African tribal dress. His outfit consists of a black shirt, a brown sleeveless jacket trimmed in fur, a necklace strung with three sharp fangs, black-and-yellow wristbands, brown shorts, a belt bearing a lion crest, and black boots with grey soles.

Though Titus calls himself a king, he rules more like a kind leader than a tyrant, staying loyal to teammates Toguro and Jian and trusting their skill on the battlefield. That same care extends to the animals of Lion's Jungle, especially the lion Shishimaru, whom he looks after personally.

Claims We Could Not Check

  • Shares strong parallels with Metal Saga's Kyoya Tategami: both pilot lion-themed Beys and call themselves kings.
  • His family surname read literally means 'Ten Thousand Beasts,' pairing with his given name 'King' for 'King of Ten Thousand Beasts.'
  • First Beyblade X character shown fielding two different Beyblade types under one motif (a Balance and a Defense Leon build).
  • Second Beyblade franchise character, after Valt Aoi, to have twin younger siblings.
  • His Japanese name likely nods to French playing-card royalty, following his family's naming pattern.
