Sophie is a loyal, formal member of Team Excalibur in the Metal Saga, representing France and tag-teaming with Wales as 'Julian's Twin Jewels' using her water-type Grand Cetus, nicknamed White Cetus. Fiercely devoted to team leader Julian Konzern, she helps carry Excalibur through the Festival of Warriors and into battles against GanGan Galaxy, Wang Hu Zhong, and Star Breaker, growing kinder toward rivals as the story goes on. She later helps rescue Julian from Dr. Ziggurat's Hades Inc., and by Metal Fury she lends her strength to Gingka's final battle against Nemesis.

Appearance and personality

What They Look Like, and How They Behave

Tall and older than most of her peers, Sophie has green eyes and long, wavy, pale blue hair that matches the rest of her outfit. She wears a blue blouse under a matching, heart-patterned dress jacket, with gloves and pants in the same design tucked into her boots, and a golden heart pendant on her left wrist.

Sophie is loyal, formal and, underneath that, kind and friendly, though she'll taunt or simply ignore anyone she judges beneath her skill level. She's noticeably less arrogant than teammates Julian and Wales, at one point calling out Wales for insulting GanGan Galaxy and taking the trouble to explain their absence from the Festival of Warriors. Respected as a strong blader, she treats everyone with formality but reserves total loyalty for her leader, Julian Konzern, for whom she'd do anything. That formality softens in Metal Fury, where she grows kinder and more relaxed with her new friends while her devotion to Julian never wavers.

Half of a drilled tag pair whose combined moves beat Wang Hu Zhong's duo, though she never fights alone and lost to every top-tier opponent.
