Lodin Haijima

Biography

Lodin Haijima is a decathlon champion turned Blader in Beyblade Burst Rise, wielding Zone Lúinor Drake Spiral' Metsu. Arrogant and intense, he lashes out when Fumiya Kindo tries recruiting him for the Spark Wings, throwing a discus at him, yet he still respects skilled opponents, complimenting Dante Koryu after Dante scores a point in their battle. He wins two early matches and beats Fumiya before losing to Dante. He reappears briefly in flashbacks through Rise and in Beyblade Burst QuadStrike.

Tall and muscular, with tanned skin, blue eyes and eyebrows shaved clean, he wears his light grey hair spiked with mutton-chop sideburns that hang down past his chin, and a blue rhombus tattoo sits on his forehead. His robe is sleeveless and white, trimmed in gold at the collar and red along the arms, with clusters of four small blue rhombuses scattered across the fabric. A red band wraps his right upper arm and a gold bracelet his left, black gloves are finished with gold braces, and a gold belt with a red buckle sits at his waist. He wears charcoal-black trousers and white boots edged in red with charcoal-black toes.

Arrogance and intensity define him, much as they do Lui Shirosagi, and hostility comes just as readily — he once hurled a discus straight at Fumiya simply for approaching him about joining the Spark Wings. That hostility doesn't blind him to genuine skill, though: he praised Dante for managing to score a point against him in their own battle.
