Beyblade
Biography
King is the manga counterpart of the anime character of the same name, a Legendary Blader representing Mars in the Metal Fight Beyblade manga's continuity. He wields Variares D:D and is a Beyblading genius whose tactical knowledge and skill make most battles boring for him, since he hasn't met a real challenger in a long time. Meeting and battling Ginga finally excites him enough to use his true power for the first time. The manga page itself is thin, with Appearance, Plot, Beybattles, and Gallery sections left blank despite the strong intro paragraph.
Personality
How They Behave
Few opponents test King's grasp of Beyblade tactics, and that mastery has made him something of a bore in battle, victory arriving so predictably that he stops expecting a real fight. Years pass without anyone pushing him close to defeat, so he treats winning as a given rather than an achievement. Ginga changes that: facing him stirs a rare thrill in King, who finally gets to unleash the full extent of his power rather than coast to another win.
