Biography

Jian Strong, called Pan Cho in Japan, is a supporting member of Team Zooganic in Beyblade X. Though she looks like a small child, she possesses one of the strongest, launcher-straining launches among all Pro Bladers, and Titus Manju scouted her specifically for that raw power. Cheerful, sociable, and food-motivated, she forms an almost sibling-like bond with teammate Toguro Okunaga, comforting him with meat buns after losses. She fights with Defense-type Horn Rhino Beyblades, her signature Xtreme Dash finishing with the suffix 'Rhino Stomp,' and holds a mixed record that includes a loss to protagonist Jaxon Cross and a manga win over Robin Kazami.

Appearance and personality

What They Look Like, and How They Behave

Small for her age, Jian has small black eyes, small grey eyebrows and slate-grey hair worn in buns beneath black covers; her smile spreads into an unusually big expression. She dresses in a light blue tank top, fur-trimmed grey shorts, a necklace set with a black gem, a fur-trimmed blue cape, light blue socks and grey-and-white shoes laced in purple. For all her child-like size, her launch is powerful enough to make her Launcher creak, and it ranks among the strongest of any Pro Blader.

Cheerful and sociable, Jian befriends the people she battles without much effort, and she stays calm and reserved even while keeping a carefree attitude mid-match. Food matters to her too — eating after a battle is practically routine — and when she isn't competing herself she's busy cheering on her teammates. Her smile is a recognisable trait, breaking into a big expression whenever it appears. She shares an especially close bond with Toguro Okunaga, treating him almost like a brother, climbing onto his shoulders and feeding him by hand.
