Biography

Fumiya Kindo is Ichika Kindo's older brother and founder-captain of the Spark Wings in Beyblade Burst Rise, fighting with his self-built Wizard Fafnir Ratchet Rise Sen, which he created after seeing his sister admire Free De La Hoya's Geist Fafnir. Outwardly flashy, vain, and dismissive of the rival Victories team, he is secretly a relentless hard worker who only performs the genius act publicly. He grows kinder over the series, attempting to recruit Lodin Haijima, clashing repeatedly with Dante Koryu, and ultimately coming to support the Victories he once looked down on.

Fumiya has blond hair and ruby eyes, and wears blue-framed glasses with yellow lenses. His jacket runs red and yellow stripes with buttons and dark grey fur trim, worn over a dress shirt split half sea-green and half cerulean with a silver pattern and a pouch, finished with white trousers, white shoes and rings on his fingers. As a child, before he wore glasses, he dressed in a plain white sweatshirt and black trousers, matching his sister.

Fumiya carries himself much like Suoh: aloof, showy, taunting and openly vain about his own strength, though when emotional he turns sharp and stern even with his sister. He is confident to the point of arrogance both in battle and out of it, if never quite as extreme as Lui or Silas, and keeps his cold shoulder mainly for the Victories. He is also opportunistic, trying to pull Lodin Haijima onto his side to bring down Dante and the Victories, though the attempt fails. As the story continues he softens toward the Victories and starts to see Beyblade differently.
