Biography

Cycnus is a pharaoh-styled antagonist in Metal Fury and a member of the Nemesis Bladers, the dark mirror of the Legendary Bladers, working with Rago and Johannes to revive Nemesis. He fights with Kreis Cygnus 145WD and never uses its Attack Mode in any recorded battle. After tag-teaming with Chris against Gingka and Yuki, and later joining a failed sabotage attempt on the Legendary Bladers' helicopter alongside Johannes, Herschel, and Keyser, he flees when confronted by Benkei and is never seen again after Nemesis's defeat.

Appearance

What They Look Like

Black eyes and medium-length white hair styled to resemble a pharaoh's headdress give him an unmistakably Egyptian look, reinforced by an outfit patterned after pharaonic dress and finished with a gold necklace and matching armband, evoking ancient Egypt throughout.

Claims We Could Not Check

  • Named for Cycnus/Cygnus of Greek myth, most versions of whom turn into swans.
  • Resembles Mystel from the original Beyblade series.
  • In Greek myth's Cypria, Zeus becomes a swan to pursue Nemesis, an ironic thematic tie given Cycnus opposes the Legendary Bladers (aka Zeus's side).

The Blader Profile is our own reading of how the character performs on screen or on the page, not a figure from the makers.
