Biography

Chris is a mercenary Blader-for-hire in Metal Fury revealed as one of the eight Legendary Bladers, the Blader of Winter, fighting with Phantom Orion B:D. Introduced as a shadowy phantom eliminating Beyster Island Tournament competitors, he defeats Toby, Zeo, and Masamune before Gingka's group tries to recruit him, but Johannes instead lures him to side with Nemesis. After using Orion to show Gingka his abandonment backstory and losing to him, Chris switches sides, helps build Zeus' Barrier, and fights beside the Legendary Bladers until Nemesis's defeat.

Appearance and personality

What They Look Like, and How They Behave

Spiky blonde hair rises into one huge central spike, echoing Yu's, above purple eyes and a light complexion. His red jacket is trimmed in yellow, white and blue, worn over a blue undershirt that hangs longer on the right side, with khaki trousers, a black belt, red fingerless gloves and a silver dog tag on a neck chain. Before joining the Legendary Bladers he dressed very differently, in a western-inspired outfit: a red hanky, a brown jacket over a black undershirt, brown fingerless gloves, a brown belt with a silver centrepiece, a second belt similar to Gingka's, a silver holster and blue jeans.

Tough, fierce and famously hard to read, he built his edge through gruelling stints training in mountains, jungles, ice fields and swamps, and it shows in how ruggedly he fights. Being the best blader in his circle bred a restless hunger for more, tipping over into real overconfidence, and for a long stretch he worked strictly as a blader-for-hire, taking orders — and generous payment — only from whoever hired him. Gingka talked him out of that transactional mindset, arguing his ability was worth more spent protecting people than earning fees, and the shift softened him into someone noticeably friendlier, willing to stand with the others against Nemesis when it mattered.

Phantom Orion's bearing tip simply outspins people, which is how a hired gun swept Masamune, Toby and Zeo; his loyalty wavers more than his Beyblade does.
