About This Part
Wide Defense is a Weight Disk that saw only a limited individual release in Japan plus appearances in Random Boosters, giving it a scarcity that plastic-generation collectors still track. The disk forms a full circle with six inset notches and one outset notch, and at 15 grams it is unusually light for its wide diameter, sitting close to Ten Balance and roughly a gram under Ten Heavy. That light weight, pushed out toward the rim, gives whatever Beyblade carries it a quick, wide movement pattern.
In Play
Smash Attack customizers rate Wide Defense among the strongest WD choices available, since its rim-focused weight boosts movement speed while its seven notches still contribute to smash hits, and bladers also use it in defense-focused builds, where it forms a metal barrier around the outer rim.
- Sold in a limited individual release in Japan.
- Also distributed through Random Boosters.
