About This Part
Rocket Griffon, known in Japan as BulletGriffon, is a round Balance Type Blade whose Gear Chip depicts a griffon, released by Takara Tomy for the Unique Line and also counted among the Expand Blade (Infinity) lineup for its Ratchet-integrated construction. Plastic Launcher Hooks in place of metal ones raise its Outward Weight Distribution, and a battle hit can trigger its signature split, separating an upper piece called Bullet from a lower main body called Griffon. Bullet carries the jagged contact points and flat tip suited to attack, while Griffon keeps a round perimeter meant to pair with Defense Type Bits. Takara Tomy launched the Starter BulletGriffon H in Japan on April 25th, 2026, and Hasbro's Infinity Starter Pack, Rocket Griffon H, followed in the west.
In Play
Under tournament rulings only Griffon has to be outspun, Bursted, or knocked out for the combo to lose; Bullet counts as an extra piece that can be knocked out or stop spinning without ending the match, though the battle restarts if Bullet exits through the stadium's opening or a wall.
- Launched in Japan on April 25th, 2026 with the UX-19 Starter BulletGriffon H.
- Followed in western markets by Hasbro's Infinity Starter Pack, Rocket Griffon H.
