About This Part
Turbo was the first Ratchet-Integrated Bit Takara Tomy put out, merging the Ratchet and Bit into a single Attack Type piece for the Custom Line system. Centripetal force pushes two internal sliders outward during a launch, extending a thin, sharp tip that builds high Stamina; as spin slows, the tip retracts and Turbo's flat edges take over as the stadium contact point, producing aggressive movement that can trigger the Xtreme Dash gimmick against the X-Celerator Rail. Takara Tomy describes the mode change as a form of reacceleration, though in practice no Stamina or speed is regained, and triggering the gimmick actually drains it. Takara Tomy released the part in Japan on July 19th, 2025 with the CX-07 Starter PegasusBlast ATr, and Hasbro's Clip & Rip Launcher Set brought it west.
In Play
The spin speeds needed to trigger the gimmick are low enough that the resulting movement and Xtreme Dashes are considered too weak by the community to reliably knock out or Burst an opponent.
- Released in Japan on July 19th, 2025 with the CX-07 Starter PegasusBlast ATr.
- Brought to western markets in Hasbro's Clip & Rip Launcher Set.
- Marketed as a reacceleration effect, though the mode change neither restores Stamina nor speed and instead consumes it.
