About This Part
Operate fuses a Ratchet and Bit into one Custom Line part, the second such combination Takara Tomy released after the Attack Type Turbo. It is built as a Balance Type piece and became the heaviest Ratchet-and-Bit combination on the market at launch, averaging 14.1 grams; the part is meant to upgrade HellsReaper T4-70K by replacing its 4-70 Ratchet and Kick Bit. Twisting the mechanism swaps Operate between an Attack Mode with a wide, flat tip and a Defense Mode with a small ball tip, shifting weight across two contact sides in the former and four in the latter. Takara Tomy launched it in Japan on November 1st, 2025 with the CX-11 EmperorMight Deck Set, and Hasbro's X-treme Battlers Pack carried it to western buyers.
In Play
- Launched in Japan on November 1st, 2025 with the CX-11 EmperorMight Deck Set.
- Carried to western buyers in Hasbro's X-treme Battlers Pack.
- Was the heaviest Ratchet/Bit combination available at launch, averaging 14.1 grams.
- Serves as an upgrade path for HellsReaper T4-70K, replacing its 4-70 Ratchet and Kick Bit.
The Competitive View
The Defense setting lacks the braking tabs of earlier ball tips like Defense, so its Knock-Out resistance trails even the already-outclassed Massive, while the Attack setting's round tip makes its hopping effect inconsistent and unable to hold a Banking Pattern, leaving it worse than standard flat tips like Accel and Xtreme.
Verdict as the draft gives it: The author calls Operate recommended for collection purposes only, judging it versatile in theory but outclassed in both of its modes.
- Adjustable wide ball tip with two settings, switched by sliding the tip's bottom portion
- Compared to a mix of Metal Fight Beyblade's m145 Track and Massive
Related parts named in the draft: m145 Track (Metal Fight Beyblade), Massive, Defense, Accel, Xtreme.
