About This Part

Takara Tomy issued the 2-70 ratchet as part of the Unique Line system, launching it in Japan on November 2nd, 2024 inside the UX-09 Starter alongside SamuraiSaber 2-70L before Hasbro brought it west bundled with the Victory Grip Launcher Set. The piece carries two protrusions rising to a 7.0 millimetre height. Compared with the early CG renders shown ahead of release, the finished mould turned out blockier, with protrusions that reach further outward.

In Play

That extra bulk and reach make the 2-70 a genuine burst hazard in play, and competitive players treat it with caution for that reason.

  • Released in Japan on November 2nd, 2024 with the UX-09 Starter, SamuraiSaber 2-70L.
  • Released in western markets with Hasbro's Victory Grip Launcher Set.
