About This Part

An Attack-type Main Blade with three rounded wings as its contact points, Blast entered Takara Tomy's Custom Line system in Japan on July 19th, 2025 via the CX-07 Starter PegasusBlast ATr, reaching western shelves a year later through Hasbro's Clip & Rip Launcher Set. Set against the earlier Brave (Courage) blade, Blast runs heavier with less pointed contact points, trading some raw attack sharpness for extra stamina. Since release it has most often been fitted onto the Wheel Assist Blade and later Heavy, and paired first with the Valkyrie (Valkerion) Metal Lock Chip and then the more widely available Emperor chip.

In Play

Blast hits hard against stamina-oriented opponents and its added weight lets it hold its own in other attack-versus-attack matchups, but the top-heavy build of Custom Line combos leaves it more prone to toppling at lower spin speeds than BX combos such as PhoenixWing or UX combos such as SharkScale. Even so, it has stayed the most-used Main Blade in Japan since its debut, seeing regular play at Beyblade Battle Base (B4) tournaments, WBO ranked events, and multiple appearances at the Beyblade X World Championship 2025.
