About This Part
Valkerion, known in Japan as Valkyrie, is a Metal Lock Chip Takara Tomy issued for the Custom Line system, launching on July 17th, 2025 inside the CX-00 Rare Bey Get Battle Prize Booster ValkyrieVolt S4-70V. Its design draws on a valkyrie of Norse myth and nods toward the Valkyrie line of Beyblades from Beyblade Burst. Built from a plastic base capped with a metal piece, it comes out about 4 grams heavier and slightly taller than a standard Lock Chip, and because there was no room left for a motif sticker indent, a hole through its centre keeps the added height clear of the launcher's protrusions.
In Play
Deck-building rules cap a player to a single Valkyrie Metal Lock Chip under both Beyblade Battle Base (B4) tournament rules and World Beyblade Organization (WBO) ranked play, though a deck may still pair it alongside an Emperor Metal Lock Chip.
- Released in Japan July 17th, 2025 with the CX-00 Rare Bey Get Battle Prize Booster ValkyrieVolt S4-70V.
- Its western localization name, Valkerion, was announced on the Beyblade X World Championship 2025 regular-class livestream.
