Collector's Note
A Spin Gear core modified to hold one small metal ball for extra weight, apparently inspired by players manually doing this to regular cores (documented in an official Spin Up Guide book). Its added platform keeps G Special Base's own balls from escaping their pockets, which limits legal use to essentially two bases: G Special Base, and Fortress Base (only with a Magne Flat Base tip). It technically fits a couple of Jumping Base variants too, but without a working tip and with unrealistically short spin times, so those uses are considered illegal or pointless. Using it with one ball rather than zero is preferred mainly to show off the gimmick, since the performance difference is negligible. The black-plastic version of this part is unusually fragile (a "Gold Plastic Syndrome"-style issue despite not being gold) and should be avoided. Ships on Gaia Dragoon.
