About This Part
Stormtrooper is a Blade Hasbro released for the Basic Line system, debuting in western countries in the Chewbacca and Stormtrooper Multipack Set before Takara Tomy issued the same set in Japan. It is a compact, four-sided Defense Type Blade built as a retool of Horn Rhino (RhinoHorn), sharing that Blade's plastic pieces, and its Gear Chip depicts either a standard Imperial stormtrooper or, in its Snowtrooper release, an Imperial remnant Snowtrooper from the Star Wars films; that Snowtrooper set was timed to release a month ahead of The Mandalorian and Grogu's theatrical debut. Of the five Horn Rhino retools it is the only one that weighs more than the original, by about half a gram, making it the third retool overall, after Steel Samurai and Optimus Primal, to outweigh its source Blade, and it keeps closer to Horn Rhino's original shape and contact points than the other retools do.
