About This Part

Roar Tyranno, called TyrannoRoar in Japan, is a three-sided Attack Type Blade Hasbro released for the Basic Line, debuting in western countries as a Booster Pack before Takara Tomy paired it into a BX-00 Multipack Set in Japan on July 19th, 2025. Its Gear Chip carries a Tyrannosaurus rex, and it reworks PhoenixWing's mould with the same plastic pieces but a modified metal piece that trims a couple of protrusions for a smoother outline. It weighs about 2 grams less than PhoenixWing on average, yet the community finds the two Blades close enough in performance to run the same popular Bits, such as Point or Rush, and its smoother shape cuts down on self-inflicted recoil, giving it an edge over PhoenixWing in Stationary Attack setups built on tips like Hexa or High Needle.

In Play

The community rates Roar Tyranno as a strong stand-in for PhoenixWing and a solid second Blade choice in 3-on-3 and Deck Battle decks, calling it a must-have for the WBO's X format.

  • Released in western countries with a Booster Pack as Roar Tyranno 9-60GF (Hasbro G0284).
  • Released in Japan on July 19th, 2025 with Takara Tomy's BX-00 Spinosaurus and Quetzalcoatlus Multipack Set.
